The Happenstancers will present “Being Pascal Dusapin” on April 6, 2024 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Toronto.

The event will feature sopranos Danika Lorén and Hillary Jean Young, as they take on works by French composer Pascal Dusapin.

Among the works on offer will be “Laps,” “Canto,” “If,” “Two Walking,” “Imago,” “Now the Fields,” and “Ohé.” Also on the program is Samy Moussa’s “Six notes pours Pascal” and Kaija Saariaho’s “Long Live Love, pour Pascal Dusapin.”

“‘Being Pascal Dusapin’ presents Torontonian audiences with the opportunity to experience work by an internationally renowned artist whose work is infrequently heard within Canada, performed with incandescent intensity by some of the city’s most committed and adventurous young artists,” the company said per an official press release.

The program kicks off at 7:30 p.m. local time.
