The Dallas Opera to Stream Season for Free During the Summer

This summer, The Dallas Opera will offer all 2022-2023 Season opera productions free on its digital streaming platform, thedallasopera.TV.

The free streams will begin on May 1, 2023, with Verdi’s “Rigoletto,” and digital audiences will be able to watch performances on demand at no cost on any digital device including Smart TVs.

The series will also include productions of “Così fan tutte,” “Hansel and Gretel,” and “Das Rheingold.”

Each performance was recorded live at the Winspear Opera House and includes exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

In a statement said Ian Derrer, The Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO, “In celebration of our spectacular 65th Anniversary Season we are bringing Dallas Opera performances to opera fans wherever they may be. We are especially thrilled to provide easy and free access to those who may want to experience opera for the very first time.”
