The Dallas Opera Announces Two Major January Performances

The Dallas Opera has announced its programming for January 2024.

First up is the Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Family Recital featuring Lawrence Brownlee alongside pianist Myra Huang at Moody Performance Hall. They present music by Owens, Evans, Marx, Simon, Barnes, Spencer, Sneed, Okpebholo, and Thompson.

Performance Date: Jan. 21, 2024

Then comes the Hart Institute for Women Conductors Showcase Concert. The conductors featured include Maria Benyumova, Micah Gleason, Shira Samuels-Shragg, and Jingqi Zhu. They will lead selections from such operas as “Le Nozze di Figaro,” “Vanessa,” “Suor Angelica,” and “The Consul.” Soloists include Jocelyn Hansen, Meghan Kasanders, Hye Jung Lee, Alexandra Loutsion, Teresa Perrotta, Lindsay Kate Brown, Kristen Choi, Gretchen Krupp, Meridian Prall, Jordan Hammons, Kyle Albertson, and Set-Emmanuel Clark.
