The Athenians Opera Group has released a recording of a recent performance at Columbia University.

The showcase features Michael Fennelly and soprano Megan Weston as they take on music by such composers Chopin, Liszt, Gounod, and Verdi while discussing Nineteenth-Century Paris Salons. The video was recorded on June 18, 2020.

Weston has performed with such organizations as the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice, the Master Chorale of Saddleback Valley, Opera Orlando, the Caramoor Music Festival, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Cape Symphony, Palm Beach Theater Guild, Madison Lyric Stage, Utah Opera, Tulsa Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Center City Opera Philadelphia, New Haven Symphony, Lyric Opera San Diego, and New York City Opera.

Fennelly has performed appeared all around the world in the U.S. and Europe, as well as in China, Japan, Siberia, French Polynesia, Bhutan, Dubai, and Peru.
