The American Opera Project Announces November 2022 Slate

The American Opera Project is set to present a slew of events this November.

The organization will kick things off with “Eat the Document” in Concert at the Coffey Street Studio in Brooklyn. The showcase will preview a new opera by John Glover and Kelley Rourke. It will be directed by Kristin Marting and stars Justine Aronson, Catherine Brookman, Christian Mark Gibbes, Terrance Johnson, Amy Justman, Tesia Kwarteng, Paul Pinto, and Caleb Alexander Wright.

Performance Date: Nov. 3, 2022 

Next up, the company will premiere “Letters That You Will Not Get.” The work was filmed at the Irondale Center in Brooklyn and will be available to stream for one week.

Streaming Date: Nov. 11-18, 2022 

The month will conclude with Adrienne Danrich’s “Music as Message: It Takes a Village” at the Broadway Presbyterian Church in New York City. Audiences will also be able to join via Zoom. Danrich will be joined by Amy Burton, Patrick Dailey, Tesia Kwarteng, Adam Richardson, Chris Shelton, and Kwamina Walker Williams, among many others.
