Camerata Pacifica Baroque will tour “The French Dispatch” this April.

The program, which features works by Rameau, Clérambault, Guédon de Presles, and Telemann, will be presented four times. The first showcase is set for April 21 at Scherr Forum Theatre in Thousand Oaks, CA. Then it heads to San Marino where it will be presented at The Huntington’s Rothenberg Hall on April 23. On April 25, the program takes the stage of The Colburn School’s Zipper Hall in Los Angeles. The tour comes to a close the following day, on April 26, at the Music Academy in Santa Barbara.

Tenor Karim Sulayman headlines the program, taking on the Guédon de Presles songs.

“This program really has it all,” noted Emi Ferguson, who curated the program and performs on flute. “It’s bookended by some of my absolute favorite chamber music works by Rameau and Telemann. But what is really exciting is getting to premiere four songs by Baroque French female composer Mde. Guédon de Presles that have been forgotten for centuries. All alongside a rockstar team of performers!”
