Tenor David Pomeroy Joins GoDirect Artists Roster

GoDirect Artists Management has announced that Canadian tenor David Pomeroy has joined its roster of artists. The New York Times has described Pomeroy as “a powerful, agile tenor…sincere.”

The tenor made his Metropolitan Opera debut in the title role of “Faust,” and since then, has performed in many leading roles, including Cavaradossi in “Tosca,” Don José in “Carmen,” Paul in “Die tote Stadt,” Calaf in “Turnadot,” Pinkerton in “Madama Butterfly,” Florestan in “Fidelio,” and Erik in “Die fliegende Holländer.”

Pomeroy has also appeared as a tenor soloist in many concerts, performing works such as Verdi’s Requiem and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

This season, Pomeroy has engagements with Louisiana Philharmonic, performing Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings, and he will appear at the Manitoba Opera’s 50th Anniversary Gala.

Pomeroy will also perform Requiem with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra and the Rhode Island Philharmonic.
