Tenor Bruce Sledge Joins Athlone Artists

Athlone Artists has announced that tenor Bruce Sledge has joined its roster of performers.

A regular performer at the Metropolitan Opera, Sledge made his debut with the company in 2003 as Almaviva in “Barber of Seville,” and was most recently Pinkerton for their 2019 production of “Madama Butterfly.”

He has sung with companies such as Welsh National Opera , Swedish National Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Regio di Torino, Rossini Opera Festival, and more.

As a recording artist, Sledge has recorded the role of the Fox in Spanish and Catalan versions of Janacek’s “The Cunning Little Vixen” for the BBC with Kent Nagano, and can be heard on the soundtrack of the film “The Sum of All Fears.”
