Management company Askonas Holt has announced that tenor Adam Smith has joined its roster of artists.

This season has seen a number of debuts for Smith, such as his performance at the BBC Proms as Luigi in Puccini’s “Il Tabarro” conducted by Sir Mark Elder, his role as Cavaradossi in English National Opera’s “Tosca,” and the title role in Greek National Opera’s production of “Les Contes d’Hoffman.”

He most recently made his house and role debut at the Opera national de Lyon as Boris in Janacek’s “Katya Kabanova,” and is set to end his season with his first Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly with Cincinnati Opera.

Smith will be managed at the company by Dominic Domingo and Hamish James.
