The Teatro Verdi Trieste in Italy has announced its fall 2020 season.

For the purposes of this article, we will only focus on the vocal and opera productions. Here is a look.

Francesco Ivan Ciampa conducts the opening concert performance featuring Maria José Siri and Marcelo Álvarez. The performance will feature music by Verdi, Puccini, Cilea, Massenet, and Giordano.

Performance Date: Sept. 13, 2020

Gianluigi Gelmetti conducts Fauré’s Requiem with Francesca Tosi leading the Coro della Fondazione Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi di Trieste.

Performance Date: Nov. 22, 2020

The fall season will showcase Verdi’s “La Traviata” in a fully staged production. The cast and conductor will be announced at a latter date.
