Ecuador’s Teatro Sanchez Aguilar in collaboration with the NAPOLI Opera is set to present Verdi’s “Rigoletto.”

The opera, which is set to be performed on Sept. 16 & 17, 2022, will feature an international cast from Spain, France, Colombia, Russia, and Ukraine.

Ecuadorian José Miguel Salem conducts the cast which is led by Alex Rodriguez in the title role. Marc Sala will sing the role of the Duke, while Viviana Rodríguez and Vanesa Regalado will alternate as Gilda.

Rounding out the cast will be Hyalmar Mitrotti as Sparafucile, Mónica Danilov as Maddalena, Jorge Regalado as Monterone, and Maria Provskaya and Vanesa Freire sharing the role of Giovanna.
