The Teatro San Carlo is set to broadcast its opening night on Dec. 9, 2023.

The opera will be shown on Medici.tv at 2 p.m. EST as well as on Rai5 and will feature a new production by Vasily Barkhatov. Dan Ettinger will conduct a cast that includes Sondra Radvanovsky, Nicola Martinucci, Alexander Tsymbalyuk, Yusif Eyvazov, and Rosa Feola.

The cast will be rounded out by Alessio Arduini, Gregory Bonfatti, Francesco Pittari, and Sergio Vitale.

This marks the second year in a row that the Teatro San Carlo broadcasts its opening night following the success of “Don Carlo” last season.

“Turandot” is set to run through Dec. 17, 2023.
