Teatro San Carlo di Napoli Announces April Streaming Program

The Teatro San Carlo di Napoli has announced its April streaming program.

All performances will be able to be seen on Facebook, on Mymovies.it, and on the Teatro San Carlo’s website.

The month begins with Rossini’s La petite messe solennelle in a version for soloists, chorus, armonium, and two pianos. Gea Garatti Ansini conducts the performance that will star Benedetta Torre, Annamaria Napolitano, Mert Süngü, and Mirco Palazzi.

The ballet “Divertissment” will be directed by Stéphane Fournial and will showcase principal dancers from the Teatro San Carlo.

Streaming Date: April 23, 2021

The final program of the month will showcase Dan Ettinger making his Teatro San Carlo debut. The conductor will lead the Orchestra del Massimo Napoletano in a program featuring pianist Alexander Malofeev. The program will include Rachmaninov’s Piano Concert No. 1 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.
