Gagnidze is a recognized Verdi baritone who has sung the role of Macbeth at the Metropolitan Opera, Palau de les Arts, and Opera de las Palmas.

The two singers lead a cast that includes Alexander Vinogradov, Giulio Pelligra, and Francesco Castoro. Marco Armiliato conducts.
