Teatro Regio di Torino Announces Reopening Concerts

The Teatro Regio di Torino has announced 26 concerts to reopen the theater.

The series will include eight string orchestra concerts, five choral concerts, and 13 chamber concerts,

The concerts will begin on July 15 and run through July 31 and will include music by Mozart, Schubert, Reger, Brahms, Bernstein, Beethoven, Handel, Vivaldi, Albinoni, Bach, Schumann, Mahler, Mascagni, and Elgar.

The concerts will be held at the Cortile di Combo, the hall of the Teatro Regio, and at the Sermig Arsenale della Pace.

The Teatro Regio di Torino is the latest Italian company to reopen during the summer following the COVID-19 crisis. The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Festival Valle d’Itria, Macerata Opera Festival, Teatro Regio di Parma, and the Teatro alla Scala.
