Teatro Regio di Parma’s Announces Opening Night Gala

The Teatro Regio di Parma has announced that it will open its 2021 season on Jan. 12, 2021.

The concert at the renowned Italian house will be conducted by Michele Mariotti leading a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. The Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini and the chorus of the Teatro Regio di Parma will be joined by soloists Christiane Karg, Veta Pilipenko, Francesco Demuro, and Michele Pertusi.

The concert, which will be performed without an audience, will be broadcast on 12 Tv Parma and on the company’s Facebook page. The concert will have a symbolic price of € 1,09.

The concert will be a conclusion to the celebration of Beethoven’s 250th celebration.

The Teatro Regio di Parma is the latest company to open its 2021 season following the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and Teatro alla Scala’s production and gala.
