Teatro Regio di Parma to Tour ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’

In anticipation of the opening of the Teatro Regio di Parma’s 2024 season-opening, the company is set to tour the provinces of Parma from Dec. 1 to 3, 2023.

The company will present three performances of arias and scenes from “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” with a cast of young singers from the Accademia Verdiana del Teatro Regio di Parma. The cast will feature soprano Carmen López (Rosina), tenor Anzor Pilia (Conte di Almaviva, and baritone Matteo Pietrapiana (Figaro), accompanied by Claudio Cirelli.

The first performance will be held at Varano de’ Melegari on Dec. 1, while the Dec. 2 performance will be presented at the Rocca Meli Lupi di Soragna. Finally, the Dec. 3 performance will take place at the Castello di Roccabianca.

All performances are free with a reservation.
