Teatro Regio di Parma to Present ‘Dolce Cenerentola’

The Teatro Regio di Parma is set to present “Dolce Cenerentola.”

The work is a reduced and interactive version of “La Cenerentola” by Rossini with direction by Simone Guerro and animation by Nadia Milani. There will also be puppetry by Ilaria Comisso.

The work will star mezzosoprano Matilde Lazzaroni as Cenerentola, actors Giacomo Occhi as Principe Ramiro/Dandini and Miriam Costamagna as Don Magnifico/Clorinda/Tisbe. Pianist Hyeji Choi will be at the piano

The performances will include the participation of the young public who will be invited to sing an aria from the opera.

“Dolce Cenerentola” will be performed on March 25 for schools and on March 26 for families. There will be two performances per day.
