The Teatro Regio di Parma has announced the students who will take part in its inaugural Accademia del Teatro Regio di Parma.

The 14 students who were selected for the tailoring course include Lucia Boni, Silenay Camellini, Elisa Campari, Maria Rosaria Catalano, Alessia Celli, Adriana Maria Cottone, Vania Marsura, Luca Martini, Greta Molinelli, Maria Vittoria Pelizzoni, Letizia Perillo, Giorgia Rossini, Silvia Spaggiari, and Elisa Zarotti.

Lorena Marin will lead the course in which the students will learn how to make their dreams come true starting Nov. 3. The students, who range from 18-33 years old, hail from Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Puglia, and Sicilia and were selected from 30 other candidates.

Each candidate was judged based on their portfolios and interviews in which they were able to show their passion for the artistic world.

The 14 students will learn from the best teachers in the world of costume design and will get a chance to learn the necessary techniques and ideas for fashion, cinema, theater, and opera.

Additionally, the Teatro Regio di Parma announced that the teachers, who will work with the 14 students, had a chance to design Silvia Dalla Benetta and Eleonora Buratto’s dresses for their performances at the Festival Verdi.

Back in April, the Teatro Regio di Parma announced the Accademia del Teatro Regio di Parma in order to form professionals in the creative industries of fashion, cinema, theater, television, and advertising.
