The Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo has announced its 2024 season.

Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

The company will present “Così fan tutte.” Marcelo Lombardero directs a new production that is conducted by José Areán.

Performance Dates: Feb. 21-25, 2024

The Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá wil present Mahler’s Third Symphony with Ksenia Leonidova as the soloist. Joachi Gustafsson conducts.

Performance Dates: May 26, 2024

Director Pedro Salazar leads “La Traviata.” Andrés Orozco-Estrada conducts a cast starring Julia Muzychenko, Eliana Piedrahita, Paolo Fanale, Fabián Veloz, Ana Mora, Alejandra Prada, Hans Mogollón, and Tomás Castellanos.

Performance Dates: July 12-14, 2024

The Coro Nacional de Colombia and ¡Canta Bogotá Canta¡ will present a semi-staged production of “Carmina Buana” and “Catulli Carmina.” The event will be conducted  by Diana Carolina Cifuentes.

Performance Dates: August 10, 2024

The Orquesta Sinfónica National de Colombia and Coro Nacional de Colombia will present Mahler’s Second Symphony “Resurrection”with Isaac Karabtchevsky conducting. Soloists include soprano Milena Arsovska and mezzo-sopranoAndrea Niño.

Performance Dates: Sept. 7, 2024

The Orquesta Sinfónica National de Colombia and Coro Nacional de Colombia will present Verdi’s “Requiem” with Gábor Hollerung conducting.

Performance Dates: Nov. 7, 2024

The Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia and the Coro Nacional de Colombia will present Händel’s “Messiah.”

Performance Dates: Dec. 14 & 15, 2024
