Teatro Mayo Julio Mario Santo Domingo to Present ‘Messiah’

Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo is set to present Händel’s “Messiah” on Dec. 6–7, 2025.

The showcases, which commence at 5 p.m. local time, will feature the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia and the Coro Nacional de Colombia under the baton of Alejandro Posada. Soloists include Colombian artists Ana María Ruge, Paola Leguizamón, César Cortés, and Venezuelan bass Álvaro Carrillo.

The performance has a duration of two hours and 30 minutes.

The Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo is also set to present performances of “The Nutcracker” and a Christmas program throughout December.
