The Teatro Lirico di Cagliari has announced its 2027 season.

The season opens with Verdi’s “Don Carlos” in the French version. Davide Livermore directs and Leonardo Sini conducts.

Performance Dates: Jan. 22-30, 2027

Händel’s “Alcina” will be conducted by Alessandro De Marchi and directed by Pierre Audi.

Performance Dates: March 10-14, 2027

Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” will be conducted by Sesto Quatrini and directed by Barrie Kosky and Suzanne Andrade.

Performance Dates: April 9-17, 2027

Andrea Bernard directs Donizetti’s “Maria Stuarda” with Vincenzo Milletarì conducting.

Performance Dates: May 19-23, 2027

Puccini’s “La bohème” will be conducted by Christopher Franklin and directed by Graham Vick.

Performance Dates: Sept. 28-Oct. 3, 2027

Bernstein’s “Candide” will also be presented in a production by Vincent Boussard and conducted by Wayne Marshall.

Performance Dates: Oct. 27-Nov. 3, 2027

Verdi’s “Falstaff” will be conducted by Francesco Lanzillotta and directed by Jacopo Spirei.

Performance Dates: Dec. 15-19, 2027
