Teatro La Fenice to Stream ‘Anna Bolena’ with Lidia Fridman & Carmela Remigio

The Teatro La Fenice is set to stream its production of Donizetti’s “Anna Bolena.”
The company announced it would stream the work on YouTube on August 1 in a production by Pier Luigi Pizzi.
Renato Balsadonna conducts the work, which stars Alex Esposito, Lidia Fridman in her role debut, Carmela Remigio, William Corrò, Enea Scala, and Manuela Custer.
The production opened in March and was broadcast on Rai Radio 3, scoring raves. Critics said, Remigio “remains a well-rounded artist; she defines the part with an authentically regal stage presence,” and Fridman’s “agile passages are honored in both grace and strength.”
