Teatro Grattacielo to Present ‘L’Elisir d’Amore’

Teatro Grattacielo is set to present Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore.”

First up, the opera will be performed in Crete on April 18 – 21, 2024 in co-production with with Camerata Bardi International Academy and Cultural Center of Crete. Stefanos Koroneos directs the productions and Myron Michalidis conducts. Elda Kladaki is the set designer, Dimitris Koutas is the lighting designer, Chara Spathi is the projection designer, and Sarah Barrera takes on the role of Assistant Director.

Then the production heads to The Flea Theater for two performances on June 1 and 2, 2024 in a co-production with Camerata Bardi International Academy and Light Opera of NJ. Jason Tramm conducts this series of shows. For these performances, David Santiago will be the set designer with Spathi reprising her role as projections designer.

The famed Donizetti comedy will feature young artists.
