Teatro Grattacielo, in collaboration with Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy, is set to live broadcast its 2021 Annual Fund Gala.

The gala will take place on June 18 at 6:00 p.m. EST at the Columbus Citizens Foundation in New York City and will celebrate Teatro Grattacielo’s past and future.

The concert will include music by Mascagni, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Samaras, Pizzetti, Alfano, Cilea, Zandonai, Leoncavallo, and Giordano. The program will also honor founder Duane Printz and guest star Karen Slack, who has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Washington National Opera, and San Francisco Opera.

Other artists who will appear in the gala include sopranos Clara Lisle, Clara Luz Iranzo, Kinneret Ely, Sarah Rose Johnson, and Kiena Williams; mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza; tenors Diego Valdez, Pedro Sequera, and Donghyuk Chung; and baritone Hyunsoon Kim. They will be joined on the piano by Teatro Grattacielo’s music director Israel Gursky.
