Teatro Grattacielo and Thessaloniki Concert Hall will present “La Vestale” on Dec. 8-10, 2023.

The production, which will be directed by Stefanos Koroneos and conducted by Philip Forget, aims to celebrate the centenary of Maria Callas’ birth.

“We are thrilled to present Spontini’s ‘La Vestale’ in collaboration with Thessaloniki Concert Hall as we celebrate the centenary of the legendary Maria Callas,” said Koroneos in an official press statement. “This opera is a testament to the power of music and the enduring legacy of one of the greatest voices in the history of opera.”

The opera stars Alexia Voulgaridou, Indra Thomas, Marcelo Álvarez, José Bros, Marina Comparato, Devid Cecconi Cinna, Marco Spotti, and Gianluca Margheri.

Teatro Grattacielo also presented “La Vestale” on Oct. 28, 2023 in New York.
