Teatro Grattacielo Launches TG Vivo Channel

By David Salazar

Teatro Grattacielo has launched its own TV channel, TG Vivo.

The channel was an initiative created by David Santiago, a Board Member and Cultural Outreach & Equity Officer. The concept kicked off on Instagram Live to introduce singers performing in Teatro Grattacielo productions. And now, it will offer a blend of traditional performances and modern interpretations. Audiences will see commissioned works, world premieres, interviews, and concerts.

At its launch, the channel features an interview with Artistic Director and General Director Stefanos Koroneos by Santiago. Additionally, audiences can check out a performance of “Fedora.”

“I have always loved the performing arts, with a passion for opera. Having this part of our cultures on a global spectrum makes a connection that impacts and engages our human nature. More importantly, together we want opera to have a place in household conversations and be a go-to art form for everyone,” said Santiago in an official press release.

Audiences can check out the channel here.
