Teatro Grattacielo & Camerata Bardi Showcase #OperaAtHome Virtual Concert

Teatro Grattacielo has unveiled its #OperaAtHome concert featuring the members of the Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy.

The performance features tenor Samuel White performing “Ch’ella mi creda” from Puccini’s “La Fanciulla del West,” followed by soprano Sarah Johnson taking on “Voi lo sapete o mamma” from Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana.”

Baritone Michael Gracco takes on “Eri tu” from Verdi’s “Un Ballo in Maschera,” while mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza takes on Gastaldon’s “Musica Proibita.”

Meanwhile, soprano Anush Avetisyan performs Tosti’s “A’Vucchella” while tenor Paolo Buffagni showcases Verdi’s “La Donna è Mobile” from “Rigoletto.”

Closing out the program is White with Cardillo’s “Core ‘ngrato.”

The virtual concert was dedicated to soprano Gemma Bellincioni and tenor Enrico Caruso, both of whom performed the world premiere performances of “Fedora;” Teatro Grattacielo” will be performing the Giordano work later in the year.
