Teatro Grattacielo Announces Major Cast Change for ‘Don Giovanni’

New York based Teatro Grattacielo has announced a major cast change for its upcoming production of “Don Giovanni.”

The production, which opens on August 5, 2022, will star Suchan Kim in the title role. He will take over for Joe Lodato, who was originally scheduled.

“We wish Joe Lodato well and a speedy recovery and are so pleased that Suchan Kim is able to join on short notice,” said Stefanos Koroneos, General and Artistic Director of Teatro Grattacielo, in an official press statement.

Kim joins a cast also starring Rick Agster, Christiana Lampiris, Clara Luz Iranzo, Eric Mc Keever, Samuel Ng, Alexandra Razskazoff, and Madison Zahorsky. The opera will be conducted by David Bloom and directed by Stefanos Koroneos. It will feature set and costume design by Tasos Protopsaltou and lighting by Dan Jobbins. Lolita Valderrama Savage will provide art for the production.
