Teatro Grattacielo has announced the addition of Sung Shin to its Board of Directors.

A graduate of The Manhattan School of Music, Shin is a Korean-American baritone who has appeared in productions of such operas as “I Pagliacci,” “Albert Herring,” and “Die Fledermaus.”

Following his performance career, he became a member of Premiere Opera Foundation’s Board of Directors and is the founder and director of Opera Under the Arch.

“It is my honor to join the Board of Directors of an organization that I have respected for many years,” Shin said in an official press statement issued by Teatro Grattacielo. “I look forward to working with Stefanos Koroneos and the rest of the Teatro Grattacielo team as we continue to carry on the company mission and vision.”
