Teatro dell’Opera di Roma Cancels Performance Due to Bad Weather

On July 13, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma canceled the July 13 performance of “West Side Story” at the Terme di Caracalla due to bad weather.

The company said, “Unfortunately, due to the ongoing thunderstorm, tonight’s performance of West Side Story (July 13) is CANCELLED.”

It added several methods of reimbursement and ticket replacement for the performance. The company said paper ticket holders, purchased at the Opera Theater ticket office, can get a refund by handing the tickets themselves at the box office within and not later tha 7 days while those who bought digital tickets via Ticketone will be refunded automatically by Ticketone through the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Those who bought the digital tickets issued by the Ticket Shop of Teatro dell’Opera, via bank transfer, can get a refund by going to the box office with the tickets or by sending an email.  to [email protected]. Finally, for those who wish to transfer tickets to another show can call the box office.

“West Side Story” is set to run through July 17 and stars Marek Zurowski, Sofia Caselli, Sergio Giacomelli, Natascia Fonzetti, and Sam Brown. Michele Mariotti conducts the production by Damiano Michieletto.
