Teatro dell’Opera di Roma Announces Cast Change for ‘Tosca’

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has announced a cast change for its production of “Tosca.”

The company noted that Fabio Sartori will replace Vittorio Grigolo in the role of  Cavaradossi.

This season Sartori is set to perform at the Teatro Carlo Felice, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro La Fenice, and Berlin State Opera. He has performed “Tosca” in Rovigo, Palermo, Berlin, and Vienna, among others.

Sartori is set to join a cast that includes Anna Pirozzi, Erwin Schrott, and Amartuvshin Enkhbat. Michele Mariotti is set to conduct the production by Alessandro Talevi.

“Tosca” will be performed from Dec. 9 to Dec. 14, 2023.
