By Francisco Salazar

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has added a new concert to its fall slate entitled “Vi Piace Brahms?”

The new concert, which is dedicated to the works of the German composer, will feature the company’s chorus with Roberto Gabbiani conducting.  Marco Forgione and Enrica Ruggiero will perform at the piano.

Among the works that will be performed are Brahms’ “Liebeslieder Walzer” op.52 and “Sensucht e Nächtens” op.112.

The theater will continue to implement social distancing regulations in order to limit the spread of COVID-19.

“Vi Piace Brahms?” is set to be performed on Sept. 13. The concert will be followed by performances of the Four Seasons and Mozart’s “Zaide” later this fall. The company has also scheduled concerts dedicated to Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, and Rossini.
