The Teatro de la Zarzuela has announced a cast change for its Christmas Concert.

The company noted that after Ainhoa Arteta and Marina Monzó were forced to cancel, with Sabina Puértolas set to take over.

The soprano will join tenor José Bros for the Dec. 30 performance. Guillermo García Calvo will conduct the Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid and teh Teatro de la Zarzuela chorus.

Puértolas will sing excerpts from “El barbero de Sevilla,” “Doña Francisquita” and “La generala.” She will also join Bros in duets from “Luisa Fernanda” and “El Gato Montés.” Bros will also sing excerpts from “Luisa Fernanda,” “La isla de las perlas,” and “El último romántico.”
