Teatro Comunale di Bologna Announces Conductor Change

The Teatro Comunale di Bologna has announced a conductor change for its upcoming performance of “Iolanta.”

The company noted that due to the indisposition of Oksana Lyniv, the concert will be conducted by Michael Güttler. Güttler recently performed at the Glyndebourne Festival, Paris Opera and Teatro Real de Madrid, among others.

The concerts, which are set to be performed on April 7 and 9 will include the Stabat Mater by Ukrainian Hanna Havrylets and Tchaikovsky’s “Iolanta.”

The performance is set to star Yuliya Tkachenko in the title role, Arnold Rutkowski as Vaudémont, and Andrei Bondarenko as Robert. The cast will be rounded out by Mihail Mihaylov (Almérique), Petar Naydenov (Bertrand), Serban Vasile (Ibn-Hakia), Victoria Karkacheva (Laura), Marina Ogii (Marta), Olga Dyadiv (Brigitta), and Rafal Siwek (René).

The opening performance will be broadcast on RaiRadio 3.
