The Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires has unveiled its 2025 season.

First up is Verdi’s “Aida” in a production by Roberto Oswald. Stefano Ranzani conducts part of the run.

Next up is “Il Trittico” in a production from the Teatro Comunale di Bologna by Beatricce Venezi. Pier Francesco Maestrini conducts.

Performance Dates: May 2025

“Billy Budd” gets its Argentine premiere in a production by Marcelo Lombardero. Erik Nielsen conducts.

Performance Dates: July 2025

Ramón Tebar conducts “Werther” in a new production by Rubén Szuchacher.

Performance Dates: August / September 2025

Maurizio Benini conducts  a concert performance of “I Puritani.”

Performance Dates: September 2025

Bárbara Lluch directs “Salomé” in a new production. Philippe Auguin conducts.

Performance Dates: October / November 2025

Finally, “La Traviata” returns in a new production by Emilio Sagi. Daniel Oren conducts part of the run.
