Teatro Carlo Felice to Present ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’

Teatro Carlo Felice is set to present Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia.”

The opera will be showcased in a production by Damiano Michieletto in a revival by Andrea Bernard.

Davide Cavalli conducts a cast that includes Carlo Sgura and Gabriele Barria as Figaro; Greta Carlino and Giulia Alletto as Rosina; Paolo Nevi and Manuel Caputo as Il Conte d’Almaviva; Gianpiero Delle Grazie and Willingerd Gimenez as Don Bartolo; and Davide Sabatino and Antonino Arcilesi as Don Basilio.

The cast will be rounded out by Gabriella Ingenito, Martina Saviano, Ernesto de Nittis, Angelo Parisi, and Franco Rios Castro.

“Il Barbiere di Siviglia” is set to open on June 15 and run through June 20, 2024.
