Teatro Carlo Felice to Present ‘Die Zauberflöte’

The Teatro Carlo Felice is set to open a production of Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” on June 13.

The opera, which will run through June 22, will be conducted by Giancarlo Andretta and directed by Daniele Abbado.

The production will include set designs by Lele Luzzati, costumes by Santuzza Calì, choreography by DEOS, and lighting by Luciano Novelli.

The cast will include Antonino Arcilesi and Giovanni Augelli as Sarastro, Samuele Di Leo and Yiyan Gong as Tamino, Martina Saviano and Sona Gogyan as the Queen of the Night, Gabriella Ingenito and Ilaria Monteverdi as Pamina, Giada Venturini and Eleonora Marras as Papagena, and Ernesto de Nittis and Willingerd Giménez as Papageno.

The cast will be rounded out by Davide Zaccherini, Timóteo Bene Júnior, Gesua Gallifoco, Silvia Caliò, Alena Sautier, Luca Romano, Gianluca Moro, and Davide Canepa.
