Teatro alla Scala Announces Changes to Fall Season

The Teatro alla Scala has announced changes to its October, November, and December schedule due to new restrictions caused by the COVID-19 crisis.

The theater announced that the performances of the family concert “Archi della Scala” on Oct. 25, “La Cenerentola per i bambini” on Nov. 7 through 29, and the recital by Sabine Devieilhe on Nov. 19 are postponed.

Other concerts that were postponed include Giovanni Antonini, Max Emanuel Cencic, Christophe Dumaux, and Carlo Vistoli’s concerts, the family concert “Un Coro in città,” and the recital by Sir Simon Keenlyside.

The company also announced that the performances of “La Boheme” will begin at 7:30 promptly and will last three hours and 15 minutes. Ticket holders will only be able to enter the theater based on the section of the ticket.
