Talents Of The World Announces First International Music Festival
By Logan MartellTalents of the World has announced its first International Music Festival, which will take place at Carnegie Hall over the course of three days. The company has described its mission as “the development of the intellectual and spiritual potential of Human beings, to restore and promote the disappearing traditions of bel canto, and to draw audience’s attention to the inexhaustible treasury of world opera classics through the development of cultural values.” Since its founding in 2002, Talents of the World has produced concerts and festivals in Europe, Asia, and America, bringing their passion for the arts all over the globe.
Prima Donnas in Concert: A Tribute to Maria Callas
Headlining this concert will be sopranos Tamar Iveri of the Teatro alla Scala, Amanda Woodbury of the Metropolitan Opera, and Ruslana Koval of the Bolshoi Theatre. They will be joined by pianist Alexandra Naumenko, who will also serve as the accompanist for the Three Tenors concert the following night.

Three Tenors from Around the World
Celebrating the 145th anniversary of legendary tenor Enrico Caruso, this concert will feature tenors Raul Melo, John Irvin, and Arsen Soghomonyan. Both Melo and Irvin have previously performed at the Metropolitan Opera, while Soghomonyan, being the former leading baritone of Moscow’s Stanislavsky Theatre, made his debut as a tenor in the theatre’s March 2017 production of Tosca.

Christmas Ball
Ending the festival with a bang will be the company’s Christmas Ball, where audiences will be treated to performances of opera,operetta, Christmas songs, and comedic scenes that will be sure to delight. Among the roster of artists for this performance are sopranos Tamar Iver and Ruslana Koval, from Talents of the World are baritone David Gvinianidze and soprano Olga Lisovskaya, and winners of the 2018 Talents of the World International Competition, including tenor WooYoung Yoon, soprano Shaina Martinez, bass Zachary James, and more.
