The MIT Theater Arts Performance Space is set to present the world premiere of Tod Machover’s first opera “VALIS” on Sept. 8-10, 2023. Based on a novel by Philip K. Dick, the opera tells the story of Horselover Fat who explores the boundaries between reality and AI technology following a “pink light” experience. The opera will star bass-baritone Davóne Tines {…}
