This is a photo of Turandot's conqueror and subjugator, Calaf, was performed by South Korean lyrico spinto tenor Yonghoon Lee who is a veteran in the role of Calf, having sung it many times since 2012. Rich, dark tones in the lower and middle registers produced a pleasing squillo at the top.
