New England Conservatory has announced the appointment of internationally acclaimed bass Ricardo Lugo to its voice faculty. Lugo has performed at many opera houses and concert halls around the world including the Metropolitan Opera where he has appeared in productions of “La Gioconda,” “The Nose,” “Ariadne auf Naxos,” “Khovanshchina,” “Billy Budd,” “La fanciulla del West,” and “Adriana Lecouvreur,” among others. {…}
