Susanna Phillips, Raehann Bryce-Davis, Hyeyoung Moon, Sidney Outlaw Headline Oratorio Society of New York’s 2021-22 Season

The Oratorio Society of New York has announced its 2021-22 season.

The season opens with a concert featuring Pärt’s “Berliner Messe” and “Two Slavonic Dances;” Britten’s “Festival Te Deum” and “Rejoice in the Lamb;” and Gabrieli’s “Jubilate Deo, omnis terra.” Kent Tritle, David Rosenmeyer, and William Janiszewski conduct.

Performance Date: Nov. 9, 2021

Next up is a performance of Händel’s “Messiah” conducted by Kent Tritle and featuring Leslie Fagan, Joshua Blue, Sidney Outlaw, and Heather Petrie.

Performance Date: Dec. 20, 2021

Kent Tritle will lead a performance of Bach’s “Magnificat” and Mozart’s Coronation Mass” with Hyeyoung Moon, Jasmin White, Patrick Bessenbacher, and William Socolof as the soloists.

Performance Date: March 8, 2022

The season comes to a close with Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” starring Susanna Phillips, Raehann Bryce-Davis, Isaiah, and Justin Austin. Kent Tritle conducts.

Performance Date: May 9, 2022
