The Lyric Opera of Chicago has announced the participation of several singers in the Renée Fleming 25th Anniversary Concert & Gala.

The gala, which is set to honor and celebrate Fleming’s extraordinary commitment to Chicago and her unparalleled contributions to the art form, will see Sondra Radvanovsky, Susan Graham, Lawrence Brownlee, Quinn Kelsey, Željko Lučić, Eric Owens, and Christian Van Horn perform alongside the iconic diva.

Patrick Summers is set to conduct the star-studded gala.

Fleming made her Chicago debut in 1993 in the title role of Carlisle Floyd’s “Susannah” and went on to perform numerous operas with the company including “Faust,” “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Alcina,” “Otello,” “Thaïs,” “La Traviata,” “A Streetcar Named Desire,” Capriccio,” and “The Merry Widow.” She also performed galas with the likes of Jonas Kaufmann, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, and Susan Graham.

She currently serves as the company’s Creative Consultant and was the force behind the world premiere of “Bel Canto.”

This season, Fleming will travel to Spain, France, and the Netherlands for recitals and will return to Paris as a featured soloist in a concert with the Orchestre de Paris under Jaap Van Zweden.
