Susan Graham, Renée Fleming, Amanda Majeski, Christina Goerke & J’Nai Bridges Lead Boston Symphony Orchestra’s 2024-25 Season

The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a look at the vocal performance.

Andris Nelsons conducts the opening night concert with Lang Lang and Gina Alice Redlinger as well as Susan Graham and Keila Wakao. The program includes music by Carlos Simon, Ravel, Canteloube, Saint-Saens, and Ravel.

Performance Date: Sept. 19, 2024 

Andris Nelsons conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with soloists Latonia Moore, Christine Goerke, Ying Fang, Mihoko Fujimura, Gerhild Romberger, Andreas Schager, Michael Nagy, and Ryan Speedo Green.

Performance Dates: Oct. 4-6, 2024

Andris Nelsons conducts Renée Fleming and Rod Gilfry in Kevin Puts’ “The Brightness of Light.” The program also includes music by Mozart.

Performance Dates: Nov. 21-23, 2024

Andris Nelsons conducts Beethoven Symphony No. 8 and 9 with Amanda Majeski, Tamara Mumford, Pavel Černoch, and Andrè Schuen.

Performance Dates: Jan. 23-25, 2025

Andris Nelsons conducts Korngold’s “Die Tote Stadt” with Christine Goerke, Elisa Sunshine, Karen Cargill, Brandon Jovanovich, Joshua Sanders, Neal Ferreira, Terrence Chin-Joy, and Andrzej Filończyk.

Performance Dates: Jan. 30 & Feb. 1, 2025

J’Nai Bridges and Samy Rachid team up for works by Schubert, Ravel, Golijov, and Brahms.

Performance Date: Feb. 16, 2025

Teddy Abrams conducts music by Tchaikovsky, Tilson Thomas, and Bernstein. Violinist Ray Chen and baritone Dashon Burton star.

Performance Dates: March 13-16, 2025

Dima Slobodeniouk conducts Mozart’s Requiem with Erin Morley, Avery Amereau, Anthony Gregory, and Morris Robinson. The program also includes Arvo Part’s “Tabula Rasa.”

Performance Dates: March 27-29, 2025

Andris Nelsons conducts the Tanglewood Festival Chorus with Verbalov, Stravinsky, and Shostakovich.

Performance Dates: April 26 & 27, 2025
