Streaming Platform Stage + Releases New Recordings From Anna Netrebko, Nadine Sierra & Elīna Garanča

Deutsche Grammophon’s streaming platform Stage + has released new recordings from Anna Netrebko, Elīna Garanča and Nadine Sierra.

The platform released a 2019 recording of Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” from the Arena di Verona starring Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, Dolora Zajick, and Luca Salsi. Pier Giorgio Morandi conducts the Franco Zeffirelli production.

The platform also released a 2021 recording of Verdi’s “Macbeth” from the Teatro alla Scala. The recording stars Anna Netrebko and Luca Salsi in the lead roles alongside Francesco Meli and Ildar Abdrazakov. Riccardo Chailly conducts the production by Davide Livermore.

Also new on the platform is a 2023 recording of Donzietti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore” starring Nadine Sierra and Bryn Terfel from the Royal Opera House. The recording also stars Liparit Avetisyan and Boris Pinkhasovich while Sesto Quatrini conducts.

New recordings featuring Elīna Garanča include Saint-Saëns’s “Samson et Dalila” from the Royal Opera House, “Don Carlo” from the Teatro San Carlo, “Carmen” from the Arena di Verona,” and Cavalleria Risticana” from the Cap Rocat Festival.
