‘Strangers in the Nacht’ Gets 2026 Performance at Crooners Supper Club

“Strangers in the Nacht” will return to Crooners Supper Club on Jan. 12, 2026, following a successful debut in October 2025.

The event blends cabaret and German art song, honoring the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. The production features performances by Bradley Greenwald, Jennifer Grimm, Kara Morgan, Tony Potts, and Charles Kemper.

The cast features vocalists Jennifer Grimm, Kara Morgan, Tony Potts, and Bradley Greenwald, with Charles Kemper at the piano. The initial performances received strong audience response, including numerous five-star online reviews.

Greenwald, a Twin Cities–based baritone, is known for his work in opera, musical theater, and cabaret, appearing with Minnesota Opera, Guthrie Theater, and Theater Latté Da. Grimm is a Minneapolis vocalist and recording artist known for her versatility across jazz, pop, and stage repertoire. Morgan, a classically trained soprano and comedic performer, has appeared in musical and operatic productions across the U.S. Potts, a singer and actor, has performed in regional theater and cabaret settings. Finally, Kemper is a longtime Twin Cities performer and director known for his contributions to local theater and music.

The showcase previously took place on Nov. 14–16, 2025 at the North Garden Theater in St. Paul as the inaugural production for Rusty the Turtle Productions. There was also a Nov. 2 preview event prior to the formal premiere.
