Tenor Ştefan von Korch and baritone Lucian Petrean have announced their concert of “Famous Arias.”

In part of the “Musical Extravaganza” series the duo offers the audience popular arias from operas and operettas. program includes Cortigiani’s aria from “Rigoletto,” the famous aria with 9 Cs from “La Fille du regiment,” and more.

“Musical Extravaganza” leader von Korch says of the concert in a press release, “The Santa Lucia concert is an opportunity to experience the magic of opera and operetta in a suitable setting to discover or deepen this music so rich in experiences.” He continues, “The concert promises an evening of elegance and sophistication in which the audience will enjoy sequences of great intensity and vocal mastery from famous operas.”

“Famous Arias” takes place at Dalles Hall in Bucharest on April 19.

After this concert, von Korch will be featured in the “Ave Maria” concert, a recital of sacred repertory set to take place in Bucharest, I C Bratianu Hall, on April 29, prior to Orthodox Easter.
