Stanislas de Barbeyrac, Amanda Majeski, Christian Van Horn Headline Opéra National de Paris’ ‘La Clemenza di Tito’ Production

The Opéra National de Paris has announced that it will be presenting Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito” at the Palais Garnier, starting on June 30, 2021.

The production will star Stanislas de Barbeyrac in the title role alongside Amanda Majeski, Anna El-Khashem, Christian Van Horn, Michèle Losier, and Jeanne Ireland. Mark Wigglesworth will conduct the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris in a production by Willy Decker.

This production will represent the debut of Ching-Lien Wu as the director of the Choer de l’Opéra National de Paris. The production will run for six performances through July 13, 2021.

This is the latest in a slew of reopening performances from the Opéra de Paris. The company is set to present a gala event featuring Maria Agresta, Michael Fabiano, Ludovic Tézier, and Luca Pisaroni, as well as another concert series led by Oksana Lyniv starring Étienne Dupuis, Varduhi Abrahamyan, Asmik Grigorian, and Ivan Gyngazov.
